I-CHING Hexagram #54
"The Marrying Maiden"

It gives us the idea of development as a gradual process, step by step.

It shows the man that a knowledge of the beginning and the end of things avoid suffering misfortunes resulted from greed and the search of pleasure. By means of a deep search in the existing relationships at the beginning of any enterprise, the man can escape from misfortune.

To get started

We are going through a stage in which everything we planned did not result as we wanted to. Either a couple or an enterprise needs fate on his side in order to reach success. One has taken part in this situation to fulfil minor desires, rather than big ones. To acknowlede that everything ends, sooner or later, will help us know the unchangeable laws of the universe, and this will avoid us suffering.

To end

We are going to enter a stage in which we will be prompted to undertake something, to begin something, whatever: a couple, an enterprise. We should understand that all the parts involved should be properly regularized, and that the only search of pleasure is not a good guide to enrol us in whatever we think of. There will be misfortune if we start something. There is a possibility of unsuccessful marriage. Being extremely cautious and self- controlling, we will succeed in getting across all the barriers of destiny.

sentence

Undertakings bring misfortune. - Nothing that would further.
