I-CHING Hexagram #15
"Modesty"

K'un The Receptive, Land Ken Keeping calm, Mountain. The mountain is the Creator's firstborn. It represents the sky in the land. It is a privilege sky's blessings; the clouds and the rain get together at the summit and it shows itself astonishing with the sky light. It shows that modesty surrounds great men and it raises the humblest.

It explains the man how modesty makes things easier, thanks to his dealing with personality and properly setting his moral customs.

To get started

We are in in a standpoint where everything is extremely easy. This is the result of doing things with downcast eyes, which can be naturally appreciated. This modesty should longlast among us and should be learned to make it part of our character as well. It is not easy at all to act with such humbleness, so it is not an easy thing to carry out. Success is assured.

To end

We are about reaching a point in which our results will depend almost exclusively of the good use of our activity. A clearly visible and humble attitude towards future will lead us to our aims. Everything will turn out well and it will be easy. Success!

sentence

MODESTY creates success. - The superior man carries things through.
